Fraizer Lee Campbell (born September 13, 1987 in Huddersfield ) is an English football player who has been active for Huddersfield Town since 2019 .

Career

The striker got his first contract with Manchester United on July 1, 2004. He had his first major appearance in the farewell game of Roy Keane on May 9, 2006, where he was substituted on. Campbell scored the first goal for the Red Devils in preparation for the 2006/07 season against Macclesfield Town . At the beginning of the 2006/07 season, the Englishman was awarded to Royal Antwerp in Belgium , where he was nicknamed "Super Campbell". Campbell played his first game in the Premier League on August 17, 2008 when he was on the starting line-up for the season opener against Newcastle United alongside Wayne Rooney . On September 1, 2008, he was loaned to Tottenham Hotspur for a season . In July 2009 he was signed to AFC Sunderland .

On February 23, 2012, he completed his first and so far only A international match in the 3-2 defeat against the Netherlands .

After four years in Sunderland, he moved to Cardiff City in the winter of 2013 . After Cardiff was relegated to the bottom of the table in the Football League Championship in the 2013/14 season, Campell moved to Crystal Palace for around 1.1 million euros .
