França , real name Welington Wildy Muniz dos Santos (born April 21, 1991 in Bauru ), is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
EC Noroeste
França has played at EC Noroeste since 2005 . In 2010 he made the leap to the senior team of Noroeste. On January 13, 2010 he was for the first time in the 1-0 win against Gremio Osasco in the Paulista A2 in the squad, but was not used. França made his debut on January 26, 2011 in a 2-2 draw against CA Bragatino in the Paulista A1 . In the 1: 4 defeat against São Paulo FC, França received his first dismissal with a yellow-red card . He was a total of nine times in the EC Noroeste squad and was used six times.
On February 15, 2012, he scored his first goal against EC Santo André . He also scored one goal each in the games against Atlético Monte Azul and Red Bull Brasil . In 2012, França made 21 appearances for Noroeste and scored three goals. In his last game for the club on April 26, 2012 against Red Bull Brasil, França received the red card in the 20th minute after seeing the yellow card beforehand .
Coritiba FC
On May 15, 2012, he moved to Coritiba FC . França played his first game on May 17, 2012 in a 0-0 draw against EC Vitória in the Copa do Brasil . He made his debut in the top Brazilian league, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol , on matchday five against Atlético Goianiense , when the midfielder came on for Eltinho in the 44th minute . By September 2012 he played four games in the league and reached the final at the Copa do Brasil, which they lost 2-0 and 1-1 against Palmeiras São Paulo .
Criciúma EC
He was then loaned to the second division club Criciúma EC on September 19, 2012 . França made his debut on September 29, 2012 against Clube de Regatas Brasil (2-0). There he played ten games and scored a goal to 3-0 in the 4-0 win against Boa EC on October 13, 2012. At the end of the season he rose with the club to the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol . In January 2013 França was finally signed.
Hannover 96
In the same month he moved to the German Bundesliga club Hannover 96 . In Hanover, França signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2016, and Criciúma received around 1.2 million euros. One reason for the player's commitment was the height of 1.88 meters indicated by advisors. When França was presented in Hanover, those responsible noticed that the player is significantly smaller. For the midfield of the 96 a strong and robust player was wanted.
On his debut in a friendly game of the second team of Hannover 96 against KSV Hessen Kassel up França injured in an aerial duel with his opponent Enrico Gaede at the knee and had to be replaced. However, the injury only turned out to be knee irritation and França was able to return to training after a week.
However, França fell ill with tuberculosis at the end of February 2013 and was absent for months, but her life was not in danger. He received inpatient care at the Oststadt-Heidehaus Clinic . After 33 days in the isolation ward, he was released from the hospital on March 25, 2013. In mid-May 2013, the trainer from 96, Mirko Slomka , announced that França would not be able to start advanced training until September 2013 at the earliest due to the consequences of his illness. However, in August 2013 he was classified as healthy by the Oststadt-Heidehaus Clinic and was allowed to participate in team training again.
Loan to Palmeiras
On January 1, 2014 França was loaned to Palmeiras São Paulo in his home country until December 31, 2014 . He played his first game on January 18, 2014, when he came on for Wesley in the 76th minute in the Paulista A1 game against CA Linense (2-1) . França scored his first goal for Palmeiras on February 6, 2014 against XV de Piracicaba , when he scored in the 85th minute to make it 2-1. In total, it was used nine times in the Paulista A1, but was not used in the Série A due to strong competition in the midfield.
Figueirense FC
At the end of May 2014, França moved to Figueirense FC on loan within the league . He hoped this would give him better chances to play. He played his first game on May 29, 2014 when he lost 3-1 to Athletico Paranaense . This was initially his only mission, as he was suspended in June of the same year after it became known that he and another player were involved in a car accident.
About two and a half months later, França was pardoned again and established himself as a regular in defensive midfield. With him, the club, which was previously threatened by relegation, was able to keep the class. In total, he was used 15 times and was able to score a goal to the 1-0 win against Botafogo . In the last game of the season against SC Internacional (1: 2) he was sent off after a foul against his opponent with the red card .
On December 30, 2014, his contract with Hannover 96, which ran until June 30, 2016, was terminated. On the same day, his previous loan club Figueirense announced França's final commitment on January 2, 2015. He switched to a free transfer and signed a contract with a term until December 31, 2017.
