"Frankensima" Philipp Simon Goletz - musician, author and songwriter

Frankensima (Sima stands for Simon) is the pseudonym of the German entertainer , cabaret artist , comedian , folk singer and dialect writer Philipp Simon Goletz (born  September 27,  1954 in Kulmbach ).

Live and act

After training and working as a banker , music teacher and journalist , Philipp Simon Goletz started his career as a professional musician in 1985 and performed as an entertainer and moderator outside of Germany. Goletz founded a recording studio and a music publisher. The music writer achieved top places at the Grand Prix of Folk Music in 1988 and 1989 and at the songs as beautiful as the north competition in 1990 . He started his career as a cabaret artist and comedian in 1989 with RTL Radio , from 1991 to 1996 he was with Antenne Bayern , from 1997 to 2010 he was a comedian for Bayern 1 and Bayern plus (the "Bayern 1 - Bard"). His play on words sets him apart, and with his talent for being able to rhyme from scratch, he became the first Franconian Gstanzl singer in the late 1970s .

The Frankish artist was in 1996 in Sat.1 by TED "best entertainer chosen Germany". With his truck song CD (Tausend Träume von Zuhaus) (2002) he also underlined his diversity. For the German bowling association he wrote and produced the album "My heart belongs to bowling" (1995). A new edition as a maxi single for the DKB classic section was released in 2017 for the Kegel World Cup in Germany.

Since the end of the 1990s, Philipp Simon Goletz has been working as an author and comedian under the pseudonym "Frankensima" and writing children's radio plays and songs for brands such as Rudolph, Lillebi and Bussi Bär . He is known as an entertainer and singer through the television programs Fastnacht in Franconia , "Franken Helau!", Musikantenstadl and "Weiß-Blau klingt's most beautiful" ( Bavarian television ) , also through programs on Deutsche Welle .

With his pub cabaret and dialect appearances, the "Frankensima" looks to a large regular audience that remains loyal to him nationwide. He is also the initiator and source of ideas for the dialect and music benefit festival "Klosterspitzen" in favor of the Marienweiher Basilica , which takes place annually on the Assumption of Mary .

Philipp Simon Goletz has been moderating the Sunday morning program "Schlagerzeit" with exclusively German hits and music from his home region on Hof's private radio station Extra-Radio since December 2017.

He lives with his family in Untersteinach near Kulmbach.

Goletz got involved with the free voters and stood in Kulmbach in 2013 as a candidate for the federal election. He received 2.9 percent. From 2014 to 2020 he was a district councilor in the district of Kulmbach and a councilor in his home municipality.
