Franz-Josef Heumannskämper
Franz-Josef Heumannskämper (* on the Lower Rhine) is a German director , performer and outfitter. He lives and works in Cologne and Berlin.
Life
In 1977 Heumannskämper began his training by William Pearson ; the resulting collaboration lasted until his death in 1995. From 1977 to 1981 Heumannskämper worked at the Studiobühne + Filmwerkstatt at the University of Cologne .
From 1983 to 1985 he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Köln and worked a. a. with Robert Wilson at The CIVIL warS . That was in 1984 at the Berlin Theatertreffen in the International Congress Center Berlin (ICC), and the WDR did the TV production.
In 1980 Heumannskämper began studying design and visual communication at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences .
From 1983 he made many productions and world premieres dealing with the visual arts, theater and music theater. In Luxembourg he staged regularly from 1989 to 2011, preferably contemporary. Extensive tours have taken him through Europe, the USA, Africa and Australia.
In 1983 he made his first own production, Dadazuerich , stage: Gerhard Naschberger , Cologne University of Music , and in 1985 Frankfurt Feste, Alte Oper .
