Franz Haß
Christoph Franz Phillipp Wilhelm Haß (* 1781 ; † March 19, 1835 in Münster ) was a German government official. From 1816 to 1832 he was district administrator in Herford.
Life
Franz Haß came from Minden . He enrolled at the University of Erlangen in October 1798 and joined the Erlangen Westphalia . In 1802 he worked for the War and Domain Chamber in Minden and was transferred to the Marienfeld Abbey after the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1803 , where he was responsible for the abolition of the abbey. In 1806 Franz Haß was a secret secretary at the commissariat of the Princely Hohenlohe Army Corps. In the (French) Kingdom of Westphalia , Franz Haß was prefectural councilor in Marburg from 1807 and general secretary of the prefecture of the Fulda department from 1810 . From 1814 to 1815 Franz Haß was captain of the Landwehr . On October 10, 1816, he was commissioned by the Prussian government in Minden with the administration of the district office in Herford and in April 1817 appointed district administrator. He held this office until the district of Bünde and Herford were merged in 1832. He was succeeded by Philipp von Borries . After leaving the district office, the married Haß was a member of the government in Munster .
