Fredrik Nyberg (born March 23, 1969 in Frösön ) is a former Swedish ski racer and 14-time Swedish champion .

Nyberg first took part in a ski world cup race in December 1988 . 14 months after his debut, he celebrated his first victory in the giant slalom in Veysonnaz . He celebrated seven World Cup victories in his career.

Nyberg took part in the Olympic Games five times, in 1992 in Albertville, 1994 in Lillehammer, 1998 in Nagano, 2002 in Salt Lake City and 2006 in Turin. His best results were seventh in downhill skiing in 2002 and fifth in giant slalom in 2006.

At the 1999 World Ski Championships in Vail / Beaver Creek , Nyberg was fourth in the giant slalom.

On November 9, 2006, Nyberg sustained serious injuries in his right knee during a training run on the Reiteralm (Austria), which ended the World Cup season and his 18-year World Cup career.
