Fredy Lienhard

Alfred "Fredy" Lienhard (born January 10, 1927 in Erlenbach ZH ; † May 21, 2012 in Oberglatt ZH ) was a Swiss playwright and cabaret artist .

Life

Fredy Lienhard, who worked as a primary school teacher until his retirement in 1987 , joined Cabaret Rotstift in 1957 , first as a copywriter, and from 1960 to 1964 also as an actor. He wrote cabaret texts and sketches for cabaret and theater colleagues such as Voli Geiler , Stephanie Glaser , César Keizer , Margrit Rainer , Walter Roderer , Ursula Schaeppi , Ines Torelli , Ruedi Walter and the ventriloquist Kliby . He also wrote several texts for the Trio Eugster under the pseudonym Guy Dübendorfer (“Ganz de Bappe”, “Dörfs es bitzli meh si”, “Expertise Tango”).

He later appeared in solo programs and in various films and television programs, for example as Uncle Fritz in Teleboy . In addition, he edited some Grimm fairy tales for the Schlieremer Chind .

Lienhard was married and had a daughter and a son. He lived in Oberglatt ZH , where he died on May 21, 2012 at the age of 85 after a serious illness.
