Friedrich von Starck
Johann Carl Friedrich von Starck (* 26. April 1790 in Gilserhof ; † 24. December 1864 in Hanau ) was a Kurhessischer Major General . From 1833 to 1841, von Starck was a member of the Hessian Estates Assembly .
Life
family
His father Friedrich von Starck (born May 30, 1761 in Gilserhof; † March 27, 1806 in Moischeid ) became master of Moischeid, which he was able to acquire in 1798. He married on July 5, 1785 in Treysa Marie Friederike (born September 22, 1762 in Treysa, † September 10, 1847 in Kassel ), a born Schleiermacher. Friedrich's older brother Wilhelm August von Starck (* August 3, 1787 Gilserhof, † November 21, 1856 Moischeid) was the Hessian War and State Councilor. He was also a member of the Hessian Estates Assembly. His son Wilhelm Friedrich von Starck was Minister of State in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt .
Friedrich and his brother Wilhelm August became the founders of the two lines of the von Starck family. Their descendants received on 20 August 1888 by Wilhelm II. A Prussian nobility recognition. The diploma was issued on board the imperial yacht Alexandria.
Professional background
Von Starck became lieutenant colonel in the body regiment and later chief of the rural gendarmerie. He was from 1833 to 1838, the 4th and 5th Landtag, for the Count of Ysenburg-Büdingen and from 1839 to 1841, the 7th Landtag, for Landgrave Friedrich, a member of the Hessian Estates Assembly.
From 1841 to 1843 was by Starck commander of the 3rd Infantry Regiment Kurhessian, commander in Fulda and Second Commander in Kassel. He died on Christmas Eve 1864, at the age of 74, as a major general in Hesse, out of service in Hanau.
Marriage and offspring
Friedrich von Starck married Luise von Spiegel zu Desenberg in June 1822 (born January 3, 1806, † July 12, 1846). The marriage had eight children. The eldest son Karl von Starck (born January 6, 1825 in Kassel) died on September 18, 1894 in Hann. Münden as a royal Prussian lieutenant colonel. His younger brother Friedrich von Starck (born July 14, 1826 in Kassel, † November 23, 1893 in Naples ) became a royal Prussian colonel . Two other brothers became pastors and one lawyer and notary .
