In Group 4, the young Hungarian team was particularly convincing, shining above all against England (2: 1) and Bulgaria (6: 1). The stars of the technically convincing Magyars were goalkeeper Grosics (last player from the 54 team) and the great young center forward Florian Albert. When Albert was missing against Argentina, it was only enough to make it 0-0. Meanwhile, England secured second place with a bang, with the goal difference against Argentina being decisive. In the 3-1 win against the Gauchos, the English, dominated by Jimmy Greaves and Bobby Charlton, showed their best performance.
