Göppmannsbühl am Berg is a district of the municipality of Speichersdorf in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth .

location

The village is located about 3 km northeast of the center of Speichersdorf on a western slope on the Tauritzbach , a right tributary of the Haidenaab, which flows on the southwestern edge of the village . It is structurally connected to the neighboring town of Göppmannsbühl am Bach , and both places are often combined to form Göppmannsbühl. It is only separated from Haidenaab by the Nuremberg – Cheb railway line . The district road BT 18 connects the place with Göppmannsbühl am Bach and the further south running B 22 .

history

Göppmannsbühl was owned by the von Streitbergs from 1517 to 1570. The former community of Göppmannsbühl am Berg was incorporated into Haidenaab in 1946. In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Haidenaab and with it Goppmannsbühl am Berg came to the municipality of Speichersdorf in 1972.
