IC 1690 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 214 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 504 , NGC 507 , IC 1688 , IC 1689 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 30, 1899 .
