IC 1690 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 214 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 504 , NGC 507 , IC 1688 , IC 1689 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 30, 1899 .
