IC 1675 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Andromeda on the northern sky . It is an estimated 235 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 512 , NGC 583 , IC 1679 , IC 1683 .
The object was discovered by Hermann Kobold in 1896 .
