IC 1673 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 234 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 20,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 472 , IC 1669 , IC 1677 , IC 1680 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 17, 1903 .
