At the same time Poser acted from April to May 1940 as a liaison officer to the Air Force in the Trondheim division headquarters . In January 1941 Poser began submarine training in Gdynia , Kiel and Mürwik , which lasted until July 1941. On July 7, 1941, he was employed as a watch officer on U 432 . After his release and return to Germany, Poser worked as a correspondent from August 1947. From 1947 to 1955 he was an administrative and personnel officer at the Deutsche Landesrentenbank in Bonn . On September 1, 1959 he was promoted to frigate captain and on January 4, 1963 to sea captain. On September 30, 1964, he was promoted to Flotilla Admiral. After his return, Poser worked from March 1963 to 1969 in the Federal Ministry of Defense as a consultant, later as a subdivision manager in the military intelligence. In the first quarter of 1987 Poser and his Germany party joined the party Die Republikaner . In a programmatic article in the party newspaper "Der Republikaner", Issue 4 1987, Poser, who was introduced as a former naval aviator, submarine commander, and NATO and Bundeswehr officer, explained under the heading: "Forcing the change! Why I became a republican" that one Fixation on the German past, especially on the "twelve years of National Socialist rule", meant a decline in "intellectual and political culture" and thus prevented German unity. The Kohl government is doing nothing to "begin decriminalizing German culture, history and its people." That same year he became executive vice federal chairman of the Republicans . He held this position for a year. Then he withdrew from the party. He later belonged to the leadership of the right-wing extremist German Study Association . The Militarization Information According to he published in the right-wing publications Independent news and nation and Europe .
