Artistic work

Studio rooms in Küpfendorf

Reger, who studied in Berlin in the early 1970s, dealt there with new positions in the visual arts and the experimental field of music. Reger's artistic work pursues its own goals within the framework of general art development. His studio rooms in Stuttgart and Küpfendorf are many things at the same time: music and light studio, color laboratory and a little stage for picture staging.

Petra Olschowski , art historian and current State Secretary in the Ministry of Science, Research and Art , described Reger's pictures as belonging to the group of "projection works", the basis of which are two square canvases onto which a beam of light emanating from a projector is directed in such a way that it opens one of the two halves of the square falls. According to the art historian and professor Marieluise Schaum , Reger aims to document the worlds of perception, time and memory as impressively as possible using the language of art.

From music performance "Wakapi" for the Goethe Institute , works for multimedia show in Stuttgart to Rock Jazz at the Montreux Festival , Krautrock with Kraan and the tour with Willy de Ville , the artistic spectrum ranges Reger.

Reger maintains his studio in Küpfendorf near Steinheim am Albuch.
