Gabriela Oberkofler

Gabriela Oberkofler (* 1975 in Bolzano ) is an Italian - German artist . Her work includes works from the fields of video , performance , photography , drawings , installations and object art .

Life

Gabriela Oberkofler attended the University of Visual Arts in Corner Brook from 1997 to 1998 and the University of Art Therapy in Nürtingen from 1998 to 2002 . From 2002 to 2009 she studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Werner Pokorny , Holger Bunk , Micha Ullman , Markus Ambach and Rainer Ganahl . In 2007 she helped found the Local to Local project group .

The main theme of Gabriela Oberkofler's works is nature and its preservation from the threat of environmental destruction.

Gabriela Oberkofler lives and works in Stuttgart.
