Gerhard of Passau
Gerhard († 946 ) was the 16th bishop of Passau from 932 to 946 . Gerhard was perhaps abbot of Metten and was probably made bishop of Passau by the Bavarian Duke Arnulf . He was considered a pious, virtuous and learned bishop whom the annals of Reichersberg call a saint. Presumably he made a trip to Rome in 937.
