Giannis Savvidakis

Giannis Savvidakis ( Greek : Γιάννης Σαββιδάκης, born April 1, 1963 in Zografos ) is a Greek pop singer .

The former sports student was selected to represent Cyprus at the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson 1989 in Lausanne together with Fani Polymeri . The duo reached eleventh place with the pop song Apopse as vrethoume . Savvidaki's debut album was also released that year. In the early 1990s he was briefly seen as an actor in the Greek comedy series Tis Ellados ta paidia .
