Evdokia Kadi (* 1981 in Nicosia , Cyprus ) is a Cypriot singer who started her career in 2001 in a student club at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia.

Eurovision Song Contest 2008

In 2008 Kadi represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade , Serbia .

In addition, she took part in the Cypriot preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest on January 12th. Her song Femme fatale received the most votes from the Telvoters, but a jury also entitled to vote only selected her contribution to third place. In the end, they separated them 4 points from their opponent Nikolas Metaxas .

In Belgrade she started in the second semifinals, where she had to forego points from Greece because the Greeks were drawn into the first semifinals. In the end she reached 15th place out of 19 participants. She received 36 points from the following countries:

•  United Kingdom - 12 points for Cyprus
•  Bulgaria - 8 points for Cyprus
•  Hungary - 5 points for Cyprus
•  Turkey - 4 points for Cyprus
•  Georgia - 2 points for Cyprus
•  Switzerland - 2 points for Cyprus
•  Albania - 2 points for Cyprus
•  Serbia - 1 point for Cyprus
