Minus One at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm

Minus One is a Cypriot rock band best known for their cover versions of songs from various genres .

Career

The five-piece band took part in the Eurovision Song Project , the Cypriot preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna , with their own title Shine and reached the final. There she came last in the televoting, but the first in the judges' evaluation, which is why she came in third overall.

On November 4, 2015, the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC announced that Minus One would represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm . The band was selected internally, their contribution Alter Ego was written by Thomas G: son and officially published in February. In the first semi-final you could qualify for the final. In the final, they finished 21st.

The band performed their "Alter Ego Tour" in Moscow , Amsterdam , London and Limassol, among others .

In February 2016 the front man Francois Micheletto took part in the 5th season of " The Voice of France - la plus belle voix".
