Annette Artani

Annette Artani (gr. Αννέτ Αρτάνι) (* 6. September 1976 in New York City as Annette Stamatelatos ) is an American-Greek singer. Among other things, she represented Cyprus in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest entitled Why Angles Cry .

Artani was born and raised in New York City as the daughter of Greek emigrants. At the age of 16, Artani received a grant from the record company BMG for her composition Summer Days . She studied music, belly dancing, dance, piano, media and acting. Artani accompanied Britney Spears as a background singer on her world tour and composed her hit Everytime together with Spears .
