Ivi Adamou (Ήβη Αδάμου; born November 24, 1993 in Agia Napa , Famagusta ) is a Cypriot singer . She was selected to represent Cyprus for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan .
Career
She became known through her participation in the 2nd season of the talent show The X Factor in Greece, where Giorgos Theofanous was her mentor and she finished sixth. Adamou got a recording deal with Sony in 2010 and released her debut EP Kalokairi Stin Kardia , which was awarded a gold record . In the same year she worked with the Spiros Lambrou Choir and released the holiday EP Christougenna Me Tin Ivi Adamou , which was released abroad as Christmas with Ivi Adamou . The record sold 50,000 times in Portugal. Ivi Adamou was chosen by the Cypriot television CyBC to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku . In a small preliminary decision it was decided that she would play in the first semifinal on May 22, 2012 with the song La, La, Love, written by Alex Papaconstantinou, Bjorn Djupström, Alexandra Zakka & Viktor Svensson . She qualified for the final, where she finished in 16th place. Your 65 points came from:

For Ivi Adamou it was her greatest success in Sweden, the song also reached the top 20 in the Norwegian charts and the top 40 in the Danish charts.
