Stelios Konstantas

Stelios Konstantas ( Greek Στέλιος Κωνσταντάς ; * in the 20th century in Larnaka ) is a Cypriot pop singer .

Before his career as a musician, Konstantas was active as a football player. In 1994 his first album was released, which became a hit in Cyprus. In the following years three more albums were released.

In 1997 and 1999 Konstantas took part in the national preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . In 1997 he took second place with I grammitis ntropi , and in 1999 fourth with Methysmeno feggari .

In 2003 the selection mode in Cyprus was changed and Konstantas was selected by a broadcasting commission to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Riga . With the title Feeling Alive , which he wrote himself , he reached 20th place internationally.

Konstantas moved from Cyprus to Athens in 2001 with his wife and three children in order to improve his career there.
