Giovanni Michelotto 1913

Giovanni Micheletto (born January 21, 1889 in Sacile ; † September 29, 1958 ibid) was an Italian racing cyclist, who was called the "Count of Sacile" or "Nanè" by his followers.

In 1910 he won the Giro di Lombardia and the Giro di Romagna-Toscana. His best result was winning the Giro d'Italia in 1912. The race was then run as a team classification. His teammates were Luigi Ganna , Carlo Galetti and Eberardo Pavesi .

Micheletto was also the first Italian to win a race in France, Paris - Menen in 1913. That year he also won a stage in the Tour de France .
