After his death he was buried in the second side chapel on the right - Cappella S. Giuseppe or Cappella Sacripante - in the Roman church of Sant'Ignazio , which he had donated for this purpose and in honor of his patron saint Joseph in 1712.
In his hometown of Narni, he promoted the veneration of the blessed Lucia von Narni (Lucia Brocadelli, 1476–1544) and had the St. Catherine's Chapel of the San Giovenale Cathedral redesigned and rededicated in her honor as a family burial place. His nephew Cardinal Carlo Maria Sacripante was buried here.
