bishop

After the death of Bishop Francesco Alberti di Poja , the cathedral chapter elected Alberti d'Enno on April 28, 1689 as his successor. Due to disputes between the cathedral chapter and the emperor over the administration during the Sedis vacancy , Giuseppe Vittorio's inauguration was delayed, who was initially temporary diocese administrator. After the parties had settled their conflict, Alberti d'Enno was confirmed as bishop on December 10, 1691 and consecrated in April 1692 by the Brixen bishop Johann Franz Khuen von Belasi . Alberti d'Enno published statutes of the diocese with amendments in 1593 . He earned services to the rights of the bishopric, but was not free from nepotism .

Alberti d'Enno died on December 31, 1695 in the episcopal residence and was buried in the Cathedral of Trento .
