Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento (born March 18, 1997 in Itapetinga ), also known as Bremer , is a Brazilian soccer player who plays as a central defender for the Italian club FC Turin .

Career

Born in the state of Bahia , he moved to Desportivo Brasil in 2014 at the age of 17 . In 2016 he was loaned to São Paulo FC for a year and was initially assigned to the squad of the U20 team. He made his professional football debut on October 12 of that year, as a later replacement in a 3-0 home loss to Rio Claro FC in a match at this year's Copa Paulista . In March 2017, Bremer moved to Atlético Mineiro for a fee of 380,000 Real . Promoted to the squad in June, he made his Série A debut on June 25, replacing the injured Rodrigão in a 1-0 away win over Chapecoense . On July 11, 2017, Bremer extended his contract until the end of 2021. At Mineiro, Bremer made his debut in the Copa Sudamericana and the Copa Libertadores .

On July 10, 2018, Bremer joined the Italian club Turin for five years. He made his debut in the Italian Serie A on August 19, 2018 in a 0-1 home loss to AS Roma . He scored his first goal for the club on November 30, 2019 against CFC Genoa .
