Nicolas Alexis Julio N'Koulou N'Doubena (born March 27, 1990 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football player . The central defender is under contract with FC Turin in Serie A.

Career

societies

N'Koulou began his career at Kadji Sports Academy , where players such as Samuel Eto'o , Carlos Kameni and Éric Djemba-Djemba were trained. In 2007 he moved to the youth department of AS Monaco .

In the Principality he was initially used in the amateur team before he was included in the first team squad in 2008/09. His first championship game played N'Koulou on September 13, 2008 against FC Lorient in the fifth round. He was substituted in the 65th minute against Cédric Mongongu from the DR Congo . Monaco won 2-0. In preparation for this new season, N'Koulou was allowed to play against FC Toulouse and Dinamo Zagreb . From that moment on, the central defender was used in almost every red-white game. At the end of the season he was eleventh with the Monegasque. In June 2011 his move to Olympique Marseille became known. After five seasons, he moved to Olympique Lyon in 2016 within Ligue 1 .

In the summer of 2017, N'Koulou was awarded a year-long Serie A to FC Turin . After the season he was firmly committed to Turin.

National team

On November 19, 2008 he made his debut in the dress of the Cameroonian national team . N'Koulou played through in the friendly against South Africa . He also took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing for Cameroon . N'Koulou was used in the group matches against Honduras and Italy . In the quarter-final against Brazil , he also played through and got a yellow card in the 20th minute of extra time, but the game ended 0-2 a.m.
