Alejandro "Álex" Berenguer Remiro (born July 4, 1995 in Pamplona ) is a Spanish football player who is mainly used as a winger .

Career

CA Osasuna

Berenguer played in the youth department of CA Osasuna until 2014 . Then the second team signed him. After a year there, he was brought into the squad of the first team, which at that time was still playing in the Segunda División , the Spanish second division. Berenguer made his debut for the Spaniards on January 10, 2015 against Recreativo Huelva (1-1) when he came on for Miguel Olavide in the 76th minute . This season he made 13 missions without scoring. In the following season Berenguer became a regular player and made 38 of 42 possible league games. After the season he was also used in the promotion playoffs, where the CA Osasuna prevailed against Gimnàstic de Tarragona and FC Girona and thus rose to the Primera División . In the following La Liga season, Berenguer made a large part of the possible league games again. He also scored his first Primera División goal. It was on April 5, 2017 in the 1-0 away win against Deportivo Alavés , where he scored the winning goal in the 88th minute.

Torino FC

At the end of the season, however, Osasuna rose again. Berenguer, however, moved to Turin in 2017 . In his first Serie A season, Berenguer made 22 appearances and scored one goal. He made his debut on August 20, 2017, on the first matchday against FC Bologna . On matchday 16, he scored his first goal for Torino against Lazio Rome to make it 1-0 (final score 3-1). In the season 2918/19 Berenguer was finally a regular player. He made two goals in 31 games. At the end of the season, FC Turin was in 7th place in the league and played next season in the qualification for the Europa League . In the 2019/20 season, Berenguer played in five of six qualifying games. Turin FC retired in the third round. In the simultaneous Serie A season , Berenguer was still seeded and made five goals in 17 games until the Corona crisis .
