Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina (born October 8, 1996 in London ) is a Nigerian - English football player in the position of right-back , who is currently under contract with Turin FC .
Career
society
Aina comes from the youth team of Chelsea and played in the 2013/14 , 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons among others 20 times with the U19s in the UEFA Youth League , which he won in 2015 and 2016. He also won the FA Youth Cup with the U18 in 2014 and 2015 . From the 2013/14 season, the right-back also played regularly in the U21s (from 2016 U23s ), with which he won the Premier League 2 in 2014.
For the 2015/16 season, Aina was promoted to the professional squad of José Mourinho . Under Mourinho, he was in a League Cup game for the first time in the matchday squad in September 2015 , but was not substituted on. This was followed by another match day nomination in the Premier League under the new head coach Guus Hiddink . Aina mainly gained match experience in the U21s this season. For the 2016/17 season Aina received his first professional contract with a term until June 30, 2020. He came under the new head coach Antonio Conte in the season to three substitutions in the Premier League. He also played 2 times in the League Cup and once in the FA Cup and 3 times in the U21. Aina became English champion for the first time with the professional team.
For the 2017/18 season , Aina moved to second division Hull City for a year on loan . There he established himself as a regular player and was used in 44 second division games, of which he was in the starting line-up in 42.
In the summer of 2018, Aina initially returned to Chelsea, who has now been coached by Maurizio Sarri . In mid-August 2018, he extended his contract term to June 30, 2021 and moved to the Italian first division club FC Turin on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season . In Turin, Aina completed 30 Serie A games under Walter Mazzarri (22 in the starting XI), in which he scored one goal. For the 2019/20 season , FC Turin finally also acquired the transfer rights to Aina.
National team
Ola Aina played for years in the various youth national teams in England and came there to over 30 appearances. After playing through several England's national youth teams, he decided in 2017 to play for the Nigerian national team, for which he is eligible to play due to the origin of his parents. He made his national team debut on October 7, 2017 in a 1-0 home win in the World Cup qualifier against Zambia .
