The Gmina Police is an urban and rural municipality in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Powiat Policki and covers an area of 251.42 km² with over 41,000 inhabitants. In the southeast the urban and rural municipality borders on the urban area of Szczecin , in the east the Oder flows on the edge of the urban and rural municipality and in the west the urban and rural municipality borders on Germany .
