The Gmina Spytkowice is a rural municipality in the powiat Nowotarski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . It consists only of the village of the same name with 4566 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).

geography

The municipality has an area of ​​32.19 km² and is located in the Rabka Basin east of the Saybuschen Beskids . Their neighboring communities are Bystra-Sidzina , Jabłonka , Jordanów and Raba Wyżna . The upper reaches of the Skawa belongs to the waters . State road DK 7 runs through Spytkowice .

The rural community consists only of the eponymous place.

The village of Spytkowice was separated from the Raba Wyżna commune on January 1, 1998 and has since formed its own rural commune. In 1998 it belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
