Gordon Brand Junior (born August 19, 1958 in Kirkcaldy , Scotland , † August 1, 2019 ) was a Scottish professional golfer on the European Tour . Gordon Brand became a professional golfer in late 1981 . In 1982 he won two tournaments and was awarded the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award . He won eight times on the European Tour from 1982 to 1993 and was a regular on the European Seniors Tour. Gordon Brand Junior played in two Ryder Cups and made his debut in 1987 when Europe first won in America before helping to keep the trophy two years later.
