Grant Besse (born July 14, 1994 in Plymouth , Minnesota ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Krefeld Penguins from the German Ice Hockey League since 2019 .

Besse was selected in the fifth round in the NHL Entry Draft 2013 by the Anaheim Ducks in 147th place.

On March 11, 2013, Besse set a national record when he scored five goals (three of which were outnumbered) to a 5-1 win, which the Benilde-St. Margaret's High School National Champion, scored. The following year, Besse was named Minnesota Mr. Hockey as the state's best senior player .

After his first professional season in the ECHL , he was selected as a player for the Norfolk Admirals in the ECHL All-Rookie Team . He also played a few games on loan with the Cleveland Monsters in the American Hockey League (AHL).
