Arturs Kruminsch (born October 27, 1988 in Riga , Latvian SSR ) is a German - Latvian ice hockey player who plays in the 2018/19 season with the Krefeld Penguins from the German Ice Hockey League .
Career
Kruminsch began his career at the Cologne EC , for which he went on the ice in the 2003/04 season in the German junior league . He then switched to the Adler Mannheim team , where he played with the young eagles in the DNL. In the 2005/06 season he moved to the mosquitos food where he was initially mainly used in the junior team. In the following two years he was part of the mosquito squad in the 2nd Bundesliga.
After the bankruptcy of the mosquitoes Kruminsch moved to the Eisbären Berlin and played with a support license with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin in the upper league and with the second division club Dresdner Eislöwen . From 2009 to 2011, the center forward was under contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen before he joined SC Bietigheim-Bissingen in the summer of 2011 . After only a year he moved to the reigning second division champions, the EV Landshut . In the summer of 2013 he completed the summer training with the Dresdner Eislöwen and was given a one-year contract in September. With the Eislöwen he developed into a leading player in the following years and was usually one of the team's best scorers.
After the 2016/17 season, he left the Eislöwen and opted for a contract with the Ravensburg Towerstars .
International
For the German U20 national ice hockey team , Kruminsch took part in the U20 Junior World Championship of Division I in 2008 , where he and his team were promoted to the top division. As the second best goalscorer (together with his compatriot Patrick Hager and the Austrian Michael Raffl ) behind compatriot Frank Mauer , he made a significant contribution.
