Greensboro is a city in Gadsden County in the US state of Florida with 602 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Greensboro is about 15 km west of Quincy and about 40 km west of Tallahassee .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 602 inhabitants were distributed over 229 households. The population density was 231.5 inh / km². 39.2% of the population identified themselves as whites and 27.6% as African American . 29.6% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.7% to several ethnic groups. 49.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 41.4% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 26.1% of all households. 71.4% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.97 people and the average family size was 3.48 people.

34.2% of the population were younger than 20 years, 25.4% were 20 to 39 years old, 26.7% were 40 to 59 years old, and 13.5% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 33 years. 46.3% of the population were male and 53.7% were female.

The median annual income was $ 30,081, with 36.4% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the first language of 63.96% of the population and Spanish was spoken by 36.04%.
