Guy Mairesse (born August 10, 1910 , † April 24, 1954 ) was a French racing driver .

Career

Mairesse took part in only three Grand Prix races, his first on September 3, 1950 at the Italian Grand Prix . He was unable to score points in any of the races in which he competed in a Talbot-Lago T26 racing car . He contested his last Grand Prix race on July 1, 1951 at the French Grand Prix in Reims .

Mairesse had a fatal accident in 1954 while training for the Coupe de Paris at the Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry . While trying to avoid another car, he drove into an adjacent concrete wall.
