The Roman Catholic Höhbergkapelle (also called prayer house and field chapel on Höhberg) is located in Tauberbischofsheim in the Main-Tauber district .

location

The chapel is located on the eponymous Höhberg between Tauberbischofsheim and Dittigheim at a crossroads.

history

The Höhberg chapel was built at the end of the 18th century. On the table sheet No. 6323 "Tauberbischofsheim" from 1928 it is recorded as Chapel on the Höhberg .

Renovations took place in 1949 and most recently in 1994. The chapel is privately owned.

Architecture and equipment

It is a simple field chapel with a Madonna - relief behind a metal grille.
