Hörlmühle is a district of the Bavarian market Waidhaus in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in the administrative district of Upper Palatinate .

Geographical location

Hörlmühle is about two kilometers southwest of Waidhaus and 500 meters south of the A6 motorway . Hörlmühle is located on the Raunetbach . The Raunetbach rises northwest of Reinhardsrieth and flows south of the Hörlmühle into the Pfreimd . The Spielhofer Bach flows into the Raunetbach about 50 meters north of the Hörlmühle. Hörlmühle is only a few meters south of the former Eslarn - Neustadt railway line , on which the Bockl cycle path runs today .

In 1867 the Hörlmühle had four buildings and four residents. It belonged to the Waidhaus community. From 1939 the districts of Birklohe, Forsthaus, Frankenreuth, Grafenau, Hörlmühle, Kühmühle, Marxmühle, Oberströbl (= Speckermühle and Ströbl), Ödkührieth, Papiermühle, Pfälzerhof, Reichenau and Ziegelhütte belonged to the municipality of Waidhaus.
