Hakan Tecimer (born January 6, 1967 in Rize ) is a former Turkish football player and coach. Due to his many years of activity for Çaykur Rizespor and Fenerbahçe Istanbul , he is associated with these clubs. In the latter, he was an important member of the team that became champions in 1988/89 with 103 goals and therefore went down in the club's history as the championship team with 103 goals .

Player career

Çaykur Rizespor

Tecimer went through the youth department of Rizespor , was included in the professional squad of the second division team at the beginning of the 1984/85 season and was used in the league games during this season. At the end of the season, he and his team secured the second division championship and thus promotion to the first league . Having been promoted to the first division, Tecimer advanced to become an important service provider. In the 1986/87 season he was the most successful goalscorer of his club with 10 league goals.

Fenerbahçe Istanbul

In the summer of 1988 Tecimer moved to Fenerbahçe Istanbul . Although the mandatory medical examination revealed a violation at Tecimer before signing his contract, both sides signed the contract that sealed Tecimer's move to Fenerbahçe.

For the new season at Fenerbahçe with Todor Veselinović, the master coach from the season 1984/85 was committed. This coach selected Tecimer as one of the players with whom he built his new team. In addition, the club signed an international star with the German goalkeeper Toni Schumacher . Furthermore, the club's management continued to invest in the team and signed Şenol Ustaömer , Oğuz Çetin , Aykut Kocaman , Turhan Sofuoğlu , Hasan Vezir and Orhan Kapucu stars and important youngsters of the time. This season, Tecimer's team fought head-to-head for the Turkish championship with arch rivals Beşiktaş Istanbul . After Beşiktaş was able to claim the first half of the season with a one-point difference in front of Fenerbahçe as autumn champions , Fenerbahçe took over the championship lead on the second day of the second round. On the 25th matchday the team lost the championship lead again to Beşiktaş, took it over a matchday again and lost them again on the 27th matchday to their arch rivals. On matchday 28, both teams met in the derby. In front of their home crowd, Tecimers team fell behind in the 15th minute and was able to equalize in the 23rd minute through Aykut Kocaman. After the hard-fought game remained at 1-1 for a long time, Tecimer scored the 2-1 winner in the 64th minute and secured victory for his team in this decisive game for the championship. In the further course of the season, Tecimers team consistently expanded their table lead and played an outstanding season. The season ended with ten points ahead of runner-up Galatasaray. In addition, the team scored 103 goals over the entire season, setting a new goal record in the Süper Lig . This team went into the club annals as the championship team with 103 goals . Tecimers was involved in this success this season with 37 competitive appearances and five goals. At the end of the season, Tecimer's team won the Prime Minister's Cup . At the beginning of the next season, Tecimer and his team also won the President's Cup game , the version of the Turkish Supercup at the time .

After this successful season, Fenerbahçe remained the next six seasons without significant success. Neither in the championship nor in the Turkish Cup succeeded in winning the title. The only bright spots were the Prime Minister's Cup in the 1992/93 season and the TSYD Istanbul Cup in the 1994/95 season . While Tecimer lost his regular place in the first two seasons after the championship, he was regularly used as a supplementary player. In the 1992/93 season he fought his way back over a large part of the season. After he did not get beyond sporadic missions in the two seasons 1993/94 and 1994/95, he was put on the sales list in the summer of 1995.

Second division years and end of career

After he had spent the 1995/96 season at the second division Adanaspor , he was given up in the summer of 1996 to his home club, the second division Çaykur Rizespor . Here he stayed only one season and then moved to Kuşadasıspor within the 2nd division . At the end of the 1999/2000 season he ended his career here.

In 2006 he made a comeback and played for a short time at the Istanbul amateur club Selimiye SK.

National team

Tecimer's international career began in 1986 with an assignment for the Turkish U-21 national team . In 1987 he completed three missions for the Turkish Olympic team.

As part of a World Cup 1990 qualifier against the GDR national team , Tecimer was nominated for the first time for the Turkish national team in the summer of 1989 by national coach Tınaz Tırpan . In this game Tecimer played right from the start, making his international debut. Tecimer completed two more games for the Turkish senior team.
