history

As early as 1347 a Hannesmühle - also a mill at Hannesried - was mentioned, which belonged to the Winklarn dominion . In 1562 it fell to Endres von Murach. In 1801 Hannesriedermühle belonged to the Winklarn estate. In the Regensburg diocese register from 1916, Hannesriedermühle did not appear as an independent district, but was included in Hannesried. As of December 31, 1990, Hannesriedermühle was listed as an independent district with 11 residents.

Culture and sights

A nature reserve was created in the Markbachtal where a herd of Heck cattle graze. With their eating habits and their step, these animals make a valuable contribution to the preservation of the open floodplain landscape and the increase in biodiversity .
