Hans Hasebos

Hans Hasebos (* 4. August 1956 in Hilversum ) is a Dutch jazz musician ( vibraphone , composition ).

Live and act

Hasebos studied classical percussion at the conservatory in his hometown from 1976 to 1981. He first worked in the radio orchestra. He has been active as a jazz vibraphonist and composer since the 1980s. He played with Paul van Kemenade and Dick de Graaf in Prisma Orkest , for which he also composed. He then belonged to the Sharp Wood percussion ensemble ; He has also performed with musicians such as Corrie van Binsbergen , Martin van Duynhoven , Han Bennink , Nedly Elstak , Martin Fondse , Bob Fosko , Anton Goudsmit , Wiek Hijmans , Willem Jansen , Guus Janssen , Ernst Reijseger , Sabu Toyozumi , Eric Vloeimans and Jeroen van Vliet on. He was also a member of the ensembles of Paul Termos and the group I Compani founded by Bo van de Graaf and also received recognition in the field of improvised music, for example with Wilbert de Joode and Butch Morris .

Hasebos is a member of Albert van Veenendaal's group Pavlov , Kristina Fuchs ' group Fuchs & Haas and the sextet Bachelor Beats (with Pieterjan Cramer , Jerôme Hol , Kristina Fuchs, Salle de Jonge and Pieter Douma ). He composed works for various chamber music ensembles, jazz bands and percussion instruments, as well as theater and film music.
