Hans Müller (born June 25, 1884 in Trier , † April 19, 1961 in Munich ) was a German lawyer , administrative officer , judge and politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

Müller took up a study of the legal and financial sciences and economics at the Universities of Bonn , Freiburg and Munich in which he both law degree and in 1910 with the graduation to the Dr. jur. et rer. pole. finished. He entered the administrative service in 1911 as a court assessor, became a city assessor in 1912 and worked as a government assessor at the Prussian financial administration from 1913 to 1918. From 1919 to 1926 he was head of the tax offices in Mülheim an der Ruhr and Düsseldorf , from 1927 to 1933 president of the regional finance office in Karlsruhe and from 1933 to 1945 Reich judge at the Reichsfinanzhof . After the Second World War , Müller continued his judicial career and served as President of the Federal Fiscal Court from May 1951 to December 1954 . Müller was a member of the Catholic Student Association K.St.V. Arminia Bonn .

Müller joined the CSU after 1945 and was a member of the party's state executive from 1946 to 1950. From October 22, 1945 to December 18, 1950, he was State Councilor and State Secretary in the State Ministry of Finance in the governments of the Free State of Bavaria led by Prime Minister Wilhelm Hoegner and Hans Ehard .
