Cabinet Hoegner I
The Hoegner I cabinet formed the state government of the Free State of Bavaria from September 28, 1945 to December 16, 1946 . Just like the Schäffer cabinet before, the Hoegner government was installed by the American occupying power . In the constituent session of the newly elected first Bavarian State Parliament on December 16, 1946, Hoegner resigned as Prime Minister, which, in accordance with the new constitution of the Free State of Bavaria , resulted in the resignation of the entire state government. The Hoegner cabinet continued its official business until the Ehard government was formed on December 21, 1946.
