Giesler's cabinet
The Giesler cabinet formed the executive state government of Bavaria from November 1942 to May 1945 . However, due to the co-ordination of the states in the German Reich, this had hardly any political significance.
In fact, Paul Giesler was the only member of the cabinet, as he also ran the official business for the sick Adolf Wagner. Plans for an administrative reform, with which the tasks of all ministries were to be brought together in a single ministry, were not implemented until the end of the war. Giesler fled from Munich on April 29th from the approaching US troops.
