Lutz cabinet
The Lutz cabinet , chaired by Johann von Lutz , formed the state government of the Kingdom of Bavaria from March 4, 1880, appointed by King Ludwig II . Lutz played a key role in the overthrow of King Ludwig II. In March 1886, he commissioned Chief Medical Officer Bernhard von Gudden to prepare an expert report on Ludwig's mental state. Lutz remained chairman of the Council of Ministers under Prince Regent Luitpold von Bayern until his death on September 3, 1890.
