Cabinet Hero II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Held II cabinet formed the state government of Bavaria from July 31, 1928 to March 10, 1933 .

The Cabinet of Epp ousted the government held in the days from March 7 to March 27, 1933 from power. The Reichstag election of March 5, 1933 saw a majority in the NSDAP . As a result, Reich Minister of the Interior Frick appointed Franz von Epp as Reich Commissioner in Bavaria on March 9 ("to maintain public security and order"). On March 16, Epp proclaimed that after Held's "resignation" he had now taken over all government power with his commissariat government. On March 27, Held agreed to his removal in Switzerland.
