Haslach is a Bavarian wasteland that belongs to the municipality of Birgland .

geography

The wasteland in the north of the Upper Palatinate Jura is one of 42 officially named parts of the municipality of Birgland in the western part of the Upper Palatinate . That at an altitude of 560  m above sea level. Haslach, located at NHN , is about six and a half kilometers from the parish village of Illschwang to the east-north-east, where the Birgland municipal administration is based.

At the end of the Holy Roman Empire, the electoral Palatinate desert until 1777 was under the sovereignty of the Electorate of Palatinate Bavaria . She belonged to the district judge office Sulzbach , which was the southwestern part of the Duchy of Wittelsbach Sulzbach . The inhabitants of the village, which at that time consisted of a property, were assigned to the Catholic parish Illschwang.

By the administrative reforms at the beginning of the 19th century in the Kingdom of Bavaria Haslach was awarded the Second Gemeindeedikt in 1818 for part of the rural community Frechetsfeld , which also includes the towns of Burkartshof , Eckert field , Geigenwang , Gronatshof and Woppenthal belonged. In the course of the communal territorial reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Haslang and the municipality of Frechetsfeld were incorporated into the newly formed municipality of Birgland on July 1, 1972. In 1987, the one-estate wasteland had three residents.
