Hass is a German political punk band from the North Rhine-Westphalian cities of Marl and Recklinghausen .
history
When Hass was founded in 1978, they were one of the very first German punk bands. The band released their debut album in 1981, Hass alone is no longer enough in the Bochum distributor H'art Musik. The cast was Syndikati, vocals; Hecktor (Peter Blümer), guitars; Jan (Jan Eastern Bloc), bass; and BAP (Bertie Klompenhouver), drums. Later Christian (Christian Römer) joined as a second guitarist. This release was followed by a successful tour and a second edition of this record appeared on the Ariola record label . From 1988 the band rehearsed in a converted air raid shelter equipped with rehearsal rooms in the Marl district of Sinsen-Lenkerbeck . The band founded their own label Hass Produktion and released numerous CDs under the label code 7120. Hatred were particularly known for their anti-fascist stance, which was expressed in plays such as Let Your Bald Men Off . The band released ten albums and five singles . The group broke up for the first time in 2001 with their farewell album Endstation . In autumn 2007 the band got together again and gave a farewell tour .
Guitarist Peter "Hecktor" Blümer worked for Rasta Knast between 2003 and 2007 . Drummer Alex played and plays in numerous bands such as Slime , Rasta Knast, Eisenpimmel , Jeff Dahl Group, Die Mimmi’s , Bone Factory , Chefdenker and many more. He also organizes the annual Ruhrpott Rodeo and Punk im Pott festivals .
Another album Kacktus was released in 2014 by Aggressive Punk Productions. The recordings were made in 2013 by Peter Blümer (guitar), Alex Schwers (guitar), Chris Roemer (bass), Karsten Siebert (drums) and Thomas Sohns (vocals); Claudius Reimann played the accordion as a guest musician . The band Hass went on tour in June 2014 and played in Hamburg, Berlin and Karlsruhe, among others.
