The Hawaii Open 2016 was a tennis tournament of the WTA Challenger Series 2016 . The Challenger category hard court tournament, held for the first time in the suburb of Waipahu , Honolulu County , Hawaii , took place from November 21-27, 2016.

The qualification for the Hawaii Open 2016 took place on November 20 and 21, 2016. Two places were played for participation in the main draw of the tournament.
